Glimpse

I have often seen things while walking or traveling or pictures that others have shared with me when looked at with the natural eye have an obvious meaning which I refer to as a "a glimpse of our nature" or the old nature or common way we observe. When I later think about it or relate it to a Bibilical view of life I see it another way which I refer to as the "meaning of this glimpse of our (new) nature. So I would often mention to my sons or daughters the questions or observation and see what they thought and later review the "first thought that came to my mind". Many of you know me as a person with "flight of thoughts" so I think in some ways this has been a gift to see all things in light of the broader meaning at times. I have found that life doesn't ever get boring when you realize that Our Creator God uses even the smallest things we experience daily to further our understanding of his mercy and perfect plan for our lives. The Bible says "we see in part" or dimly in this life. Someday we will see clearly.

I have included pictures and illustrations to bring another view to the "glimpse".

I have often read scriptures in Spanish and love the poetic sound of the words and the deep meanings so I included this to reflect my heart for those who speak this language. God Bless as you read and view the photos or illustrations and pass these to the next generation.

#9 Spotted fawn laying still, doe in the open knows fawn's location.

I have seen fawns many times in the woods . The fawn lays quietly, a distance from the doe, hidden, and camouflaged with it spots resembling sun's light on the forest floor.

Glimpse- As the fawn grows older it will be seen more with the doe. The doe is very bold and protective even in the presence of humans, while showing the fawn where to find food, how to keep safe, and flee from danger. Later the fawn will react and flee even before the doe as it learns. The doe always seems to know the whereabouts of the fawn and knows the fawn very well. I have read and thought that God knows all there is to know about us.There is no place I can be hidden from God, no place beyond God's care.

Psalm 139:1-7
1 O LORD, you have searched me and known me! 1 Oh SEÑOR, tú me has escudriñado y conocido.
2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. 2 Tú conoces mi sentarme y mi levantarme; desde lejos comprendes mis pensamientos.
3 You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. 3 Tú escudriñas mi senda y mi descanso, y conoces bien todos mis caminos.
4 Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.
5 You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. 5 Por detrás y por delante me has cercado, y tu mano pusiste sobre mí.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it. 6 Tal conocimiento es demasiado maravilloso para mí; es muy elevado, no lo puedo alcanzar.
7 Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? 7 ¿Adónde me iré de tu Espíritu, o adónde huiré de tu presencia?
