Glimpse

I have often seen things while walking or traveling or pictures that others have shared with me when looked at with the natural eye have an obvious meaning which I refer to as a "a glimpse of our nature" or the old nature or common way we observe. When I later think about it or relate it to a Bibilical view of life I see it another way which I refer to as the "meaning of this glimpse of our (new) nature. So I would often mention to my sons or daughters the questions or observation and see what they thought and later review the "first thought that came to my mind". Many of you know me as a person with "flight of thoughts" so I think in some ways this has been a gift to see all things in light of the broader meaning at times. I have found that life doesn't ever get boring when you realize that Our Creator God uses even the smallest things we experience daily to further our understanding of his mercy and perfect plan for our lives. The Bible says "we see in part" or dimly in this life. Someday we will see clearly.

I have included pictures and illustrations to bring another view to the "glimpse".

I have often read scriptures in Spanish and love the poetic sound of the words and the deep meanings so I included this to reflect my heart for those who speak this language. God Bless as you read and view the photos or illustrations and pass these to the next generation.

#6 Cold wind and snow against your face on a sunny day or at sunset.

I have felt the cold wind with snow blowing against my face. This has happened on bright sunny days, and at sunset. I feel warm although it is a blizzard!

Glimpse- Why would such harsh weather as blowing snow and the wind chill on my face not sadden me but invigorate me? The Bible teaches that we have very little knowledge concerning the sunrise, the sunset, the weather and the storehouse of the rain or snow. Although we can forecast, we cannot control the weather. I have prayed and seen the weather change favorably and realize it is only God's mercy. When I go to sleep and wake to a field of deep, glistening, powder it fills me with awe.

Job 38:18-22

18 Have you comprehended the expanse of the earth? Declare, if you know all this. 18 ¿Has comprendido la extensión de la tierra? Dímelo, si tú sabes todo esto.
19 "Where is the way to the dwelling of light, and where is the place of darkness, 19 ¿Dónde está el camino a la morada de la luz? Y la oscuridad, ¿dónde está su lugar,
20 that you may take it to its territory and that you may discern the paths to its home?
21 You know, for you were born then, and the number of your days is great!
22 "Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, or have you seen the storehouses of the hail,(ESV)22 ¿Has entrado en los depósitos de la nieve, o has visto los depósitos del granizo,(LBLA)
