#11 Gold wedding ring cut from finger restored.

Corte de oro anillo de bodas de los dedos restaurado.

My wedding ring had to be cut from my finger due to a brief trial with a swollen knuckle. The ring was cut, dull, and unpolished from years of wear; and the size was too small. I had it repaired. The jeweler was able to add a piece of gold, changing it from a size 9 to 10.5. The ring was brilliantly polished gold and looked new again and was sized perfectly for me.

Glimpse- The ring before the repair was like our lives before Christ- worn, not brilliant, broken, scoured by sin, selfishness and worldliness.  The repaired ring is a glimpse after Christ is in our lives- shining gold, polished by the master, refined perfectly for His work.

Mi anillo de boda tuvo que ser cortado de mi dedo, debido a un juicio breve con un nudillo inflamado. El anillo fue cortada, sin brillo y sin pulir, por años de uso, y el tamaño era demasiado pequeño. Yo lo había reparado. El joyero era capaz de añadir una pieza de oro, cambiándolo de un tamaño de 9 a 10,5. El anillo era de oro pulido brillante y miró otra vez y era del tamaño perfecto para mí.

Visión- El anillo de visión antes de la reparación era como nuestra vida antes de Cristo-usado, no brillante, rotos, lavados por el pecado, el egoísmo y la mundanalidad. El anillo se repara un vistazo después de Cristo en nuestras vidas-oro brillante, pulido por el maestro, perfectamente refinados para su obra.

1 Peter 1:7

7 so that the tested genuineness of your faith--more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire--may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

7 para que la prueba de vuestra fe, más preciosa que el oro que perece, aunque probado por fuego, sea hallada que resulta en alabanza, gloria y honor en la revelación de Jesucristo;

Job  23:10 10 But he knows the way that I take; when he has tried me, I shall come out as gold.

10 Pero El sabe el camino que tomo; cuando me haya probado, saldré como el oro.

#10 Snake unseen in the middle of the walking trail.

Serpiente invisible en medio de la ruta de senderismo.

I was walking down the White's Woods trail. The road  was rocky. I was distracted with a lot of things on my mind oblivious to what I was walking over or what was near my feet.

Glimpse- I walked down the trail stopped near a large oak tree, prayed and looked at the sky. Within a few minutes I walked back up the hill and to my surprise a large snake over five feet long was laying across the road. I didn't see it less than a few minutes ago! I probably walked near or over it on the way down. The first thought that went through my mind was how I need to stay alert to the evil one that is keen like a snake and is out to tempt me. I need to be watchful and alert to those things that could ruin my life, resist the devil, and trust God's promises.

Yo estaba caminando por la pista de White Woods. El camino era rocoso. Me distraje con un montón de cosas en mi mente ajeno a lo que yo estaba caminando por encima o por lo que cerca de mis pies.

Visión-caminaba por el camino se detuvo cerca de un gran roble, oró y miró al cielo. Dentro de unos minutos regresó a la colina y para mi sorpresa, una gran serpiente de más de cinco metros de largo por la que se estaba cruzando la calle. Yo no lo veía menos de hace unos minutos! Probablemente caminaba cerca o sobre él en el camino hacia abajo. El primer pensamiento que vino a mi mente fue lo que necesito para estar alerta ante el mal que está dispuesto como una serpiente y es a tentarme. Tengo que estar vigilantes y atentos a las cosas que podrían arruinar mi vida, resistir al diablo, y promete la confianza de Dios.

1 Peter 5:8-9

8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.	8 Sed de espíritu sobrio, estad alerta. Vuestro adversario, el diablo, anda al acecho como león rugiente, buscando a quien devorar.
9 Resist him, firm in your faith,....(ESV)	9 Pero resistidle firmes en la fe, ....(LBLA)

#9 Spotted fawn laying still, doe in the open knows fawn's location.

Manchado cervatillo por la que se sigue, mientras gama es al aire libre conociendo la ubicación de cervato.

 

I have seen fawns many times in the woods . The fawn lays quietly, a distance from the doe, hidden, and camouflaged with it spots resembling sun's light on the forest floor.

Glimpse-  As the fawn grows older it will be seen more with the doe. The doe is very bold and protective even in the presence of humans, while showing the fawn where to find food, how to keep safe, and flee from danger. Later the fawn will react and flee even before the doe as it learns. The doe always seems to know the whereabouts of the fawn and knows the fawn very well. I have read and thought that God knows all there is to know about us.There is no place I can be hidden from God, no place beyond God's care.

Yo he visto muchas veces cervatillos en los bosques. El cervatillo establece en silencio, lejos de la gama, oculto, camuflado y con él los puntos se asemeja la luz del sol sobre el suelo del bosque.
Visión-como el cervatillo se hace mayor, se verá más a la cierva. La gama es muy audaz y de protección, incluso en presencia de los seres humanos, mientras se muestra el cervatillo dónde encontrar comida, cómo mantenerse a salvo, y huir del peligro. Más tarde, el cervatillo va a reaccionar y huir antes incluso de la gama, ya que aprende. La gama siempre parece saber el paradero de los leonado y el cervatillo sabe muy bien. He leído y pensaba que Dios sabe todo lo que hay que saber sobre us.There hay lugar en el que se puede esconder de Dios, no hay lugar más allá del cuidado de Dios.

Psalm 139:1-7

Mallard duckings are comical when walking on land trying to keep the pace with mama.

Glimpse- It is funny when you see duckings tripping and a little clumsy while walking briskly behind the mother Mallard. Amazingly, when they enter the water they swim with ease, very quickly. It seems they are trying to outdo one another for position in their new found life. All along mother is aware watching with a calm confidence and pushing them along without concern, knowing somehow that they will catch on or they may not.

Cloqueos Mallard son divertidas cuando se camina sobre la tierra tratando de mantener el ritmo de la mama.

Visión-Es curioso cuando ves cloqueos disparo y un poco de tiempo torpe caminar rápidamente tras el pato madre. Sorprendentemente, cuando entran en el agua en que nadan con facilidad, muy rápidamente. Parece que están tratando de superarse unos a otros por un lugar en su vida reciente. A lo largo de la madre es consciente de ver con calma y confianza e impulsar a lo largo, sin preocuparse, sabiendo que de alguna manera que ellos se dan cuenta o no.

#7 A view of posterity, a shadow, sun reflection on a braid of hair.

Una visión de la posteridad, una sombra de los antepasados, el reflejo del sol en una trenza de cabello.

I have seen the sun reflect on a braid of hair while looking at our grandparents. A reflection of the sun on a braid of hair cast a shadow from our history to posterity.



Glimpse-  I have never forgotten a picture sitting inside the camp at Kilburn. Warm sunlight on a grandchild's braided hair. Looking at and talking with grandparents. The shadow cast on the bench behind them somehow cast a shadow toward posterity.

He visto el sol se reflejan en una trenza de cabello mientras mira a nuestros abuelos. Un reflejo del sol en una trenza de pelo de una sombra de nuestra historia para la posteridad.

Visión-que nunca he olvidado una foto sentado en el interior del campamento en Kilburn. Cálida luz del sol en el cabello trenzado de un nieto. Mirando y hablando con los abuelos. La sombra proyectada en el banco detrás de ellos de alguna manera una sombra hacia la posteridad.

Psalm 22:30

30 Posterity shall serve him; it shall be told of the Lord to the coming generation;(ESV)

30 La posteridad le servirá; esto se dirá del Señor hasta la generación venidera.(LBLA)

#6 Cold wind and snow against your face on a sunny day or at sunset.

Viento frío y la nieve en tu cara en un día soleado o al atardecer.

 

I have felt the cold wind with snow blowing against my face. This has happened on bright sunny days, and at sunset. I feel warm although it is a blizzard!


Glimpse- Why would such harsh weather as blowing snow and the wind chill on my face not sadden me but invigorate me? The Bible teaches that we have very little knowledge concerning the sunrise, the sunset,the weather and the storehouse of the rain or snow. Although we can forecast, we cannot control the weather. I have prayed and seen the weather change favorably and realize it is only God's mercy. When I go to sleep and wake to a field of deep, glistening, powder it fills me with awe.

He sentido el viento frío de nieve que sopla contra mi cara. Esto ha ocurrido en días soleados, y al atardecer. Me siento caliente, aunque es una tormenta de nieve!


Visión-¿Por qué inclemencias del tiempo tales no como viento y nieve y el frío del viento en mi cara me entristecen, pero dinamizar mí? La Biblia enseña que tenemos muy poco conocimiento acerca de la salida del sol, puesta del sol, el clima y el almacén de la lluvia o la nieve. A pesar de que puede predecir, no podemos controlar el clima. He rezado y he visto el cambio de clima favorable y se dan cuenta que sólo la misericordia de Dios. Cuando voy a dormir y despertar a un campo de profundidad, el polvo brillante, me llena de asombro.

Job 38:18-22

#5 Ocean swim during a dark overcast sky.

Océano nadar durante un cielo nublado oscuro.

We have experienced refreshing calm times in the ocean just before a storm.

Glimpse-   Being in the ocean just before a storm can be refreshing eventhough the sky is dark and the waters roughen. The warm breeze  blows across the water and over you. Most leave the water and try to find shelter before the storm. You can experience stillness in the midst of a storm knowing that is a brief time until the sun will be shining again and the storm is past. Life becomes still and peaceful again.

Hemos experimentado refrescantes momentos de calma en el mar justo antes de una tormenta.
Visión-aún cuando el cielo está oscuro y las aguas que se endurezca en el mar justo antes de una tormenta puede ser refrescante. La brisa cálida a través del agua y sobre ti. La mayoría salen del agua y tratar de encontrar refugio antes de la tormenta. Usted puede experimentar la quietud en medio de una tormenta, sabiendo que es un breve periodo de tiempo hasta que el sol brillará otra vez y la tormenta ha pasado. Todo se vuelve tranquilo y pacífico de nuevo.




Psalm 107:28-31

28 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress.	28 Entonces en su angustia clamaron al SEÑOR y El los sacó de sus aflicciones.

# 4 Rainbow during storms.

Arco iris durante las tormentas

Many times I have seen rainbows appear in the midst of a rain shower or storm.

Glimpse- I have seen rainbows appear at the beach during a rain and at times during storms when I think "How could this beautiful, multi-color, bow appear at such a stormy time."  Many times in life we have both good and what we think as not- so- good happening in each day. We remember that both work for good in our lives according to God's promise.

Muchas veces he visto un arco iris aparece en medio de una lluvia o una tormenta.
Visión- he visto el arco iris aparece en la playa durante una lluvia y, a veces durante las tormentas, cuando pienso '¿Cómo podría esta hermosa, de varios colores, el arco aparece en un momento tan tormentosa. Muchas veces en la vida tenemos buenas y lo que creemos que ocurre, como no tan buena en todos los días. Recordamos que tanto el trabajo para el bien en nuestras vidas de acuerdo a la promesa de Dios.



Genesis 9:13

13 I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. (ESV)

13 pongo mi arco en las nubes y será por señal del pacto entre yo y la tierra.(LBLA)

#3 Tiny,delicate,blooming flower or grass on rock in the mountains.

La pequeña, delicada flor, la floración o la hierba sobre la roca en el medio del bosque o las montañas

 You see green grass or blooming flowers growing in a rocky place.

Glimpse- I have walked in areas of mountains where there is so much rock you would not think anything could grow. There in a rocky place you find that God cares and adorns the flowers of the field , purely for our pleasure. Most eyes will never set their gaze on these flowers or fields. What a Father and Creator!

Usted ve hierba verde o flores abriéndose, creciendo en un lugar rocoso

Visión, que he andado en las zonas de montaña donde hay roca tanto que no creo que nada podría crecer. Allí, en un lugar rocoso a encontrar que Dios se preocupa y adorna las flores del campo, exclusivamente para nuestro placer. La mayoría de los ojos nunca se pone su mirada en estas flores o campos. Lo que es un Padre y Creador! 

Matthew 6:28-30

28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin,	28 Y por la ropa, ¿por qué os preocupáis? Observad cómo crecen los lirios del campo; no trabajan, ni hilan;
29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.	29 pero os digo que ni Salomón en toda su gloria se vistió como uno de éstos.
30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you,(ESV)	30 Y si Dios viste así la hierba del campo, que hoy es y mañana es echada al horno, ¿no hará mucho más por vosotros, (LBLA)

 

#2 The coolness of the shadow near a great rock.

La frescura de la sombra cerca de una gran roca.

When walking on a hot day I have stepped into a shadow of a great rock.

Glimpse-Many times I have looked for shade because of the heat. A few times i have sought shelter near a great rock. The coolness of the shadow is shelter from the elements and provides refreshment for the journey.

Al caminar en un día caluroso que he entrado en una sombra de una gran roca.

Visión-Muchas veces he buscado la sombra por el calor. Algunas veces me han buscado refugio cerca de una gran roca. La frescura de la sombra es el refugio de los elementos y ofrece refrigerio para el camino.

Is 32:2 

2 Each will be like a hiding place from the wind, a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry place, like the shade of a great rock in a weary land.(ESV)

2 Cada uno será como refugio contra el viento y un abrigo contra la tormenta, como corrientes de agua en tierra seca, como la sombra de una gran peña en tierra árida.(LBLA)
